
Vintage 21 Rose
Heifer Station vineyard is situated between 860-900m elevation on the undulating slopes of Mt Canobolas. Shiraz and Merlot for our dry rose were planted in 1999 on a high, easterly aspect.
Tasting Note:
Wild fermented in old French barriques. Wild malolactic fermentation on fermentation lees.
Tasting: Fresh strawberry, grapefruit, peaches and cream on the nose. Palate is generous with an abundance of fresh berry fruits and creamy texture on the finish. Dry and savory style rose with texture and depth
80 % Shiraz 20% Merlot
860-900m Elevation on an easterly aspect.
13 % ALC
Bright red after 5 hours on skins.
