Genissè * Fr (Heifer)


Heifer Station vineyard is situated between 860-900m elevation on the undulating slopes of Mt Canobolas. The high altitude and aspect of the vineyard coupled with the maturity of the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir at this site make for a stunning sparkling wine with great complexity. The fruit is carefully hand-picked to ensure premium quality.


Tasting Note:

The marriage of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in this wine, coupled with its time on lees has delivered a sparkling wine with great balance and complexity. The wine has a lovely nuttiness with a yeasty brioche character from its extended time on bottle lees. A small batch made with fruit from the Heifer Station vineyard in Orange.
